http://www.bullytuff.com/
A buddy of mine who does alot of military and law enforcement duty gear hit me up about making some heavy duty pet gear. Here is the site a put together and the first set of gear we created. I've been using the collar and leashes on Morgan and Titus for the past couple of months but am not real keen on the hard core military buckle. I liked the idea of not having to undo the buckle each time you put the collar on the dog but it's a pain in the ars to adjust.
We are now playing around with a 3 prong military plastic buckle like you find on duty belts or might be going to a reagular 2 prong metal buckle like you find on the larger dog collars.
Thoughs anyone?

Looking awesome. Custom embroidery FTW. Also, see my comment in your other thread about customer service. _________________ The Heavy Duty Dog Company

i like the one shown on the site. When the other colors are available, shoot I will get one when the budget permits.
A few thoughts:
* a standard buckle version....tried and true
* a padded collar grip.... i have always like those
* also embelshment beyond embroidery..... maybe dog tag syle name plates.....considering the style, heavy duty function, and back ground of the materials. I think that would be sick.
just my two cents....because that is what i would like to have in awesome collar....I am not a big fan of super fancy leather....kind of pointless to me.
Good luck bud _________________

Awesome. Any possibility you guys will get the gray camo pattern? I was thinking the collars would be perfect for our lifestyle. The Overkill (if I get it) will be Gunner's bling for the shows/misc events. This one looks like it'll handle the hiking, swimming, and other more outdoorsy stuff we do. Looking forward to it! _________________ The Heavy Duty Dog Company

Oh and one more though....Would love to see a different option for the leash connection to the collar. I know cost would be an issue, but a HQ fast clip (like those used for mountain climbing) would really parallel the military grade concept IMO. Just a thought/suggestion. _________________ The Heavy Duty Dog Company

Awesome, thanks for the feedback. We are in the air about the buckle, but I like your idea of having a 2nd version with a standard buckle. And we have definetly been playing around with the idea of the Dog Tag. Dog Tags are cheap but the embossing machines are a grip of change, cheapest one being around $1500 and its a crapper.
Again, I really appreciate the feedback. _________________

We can definetly look into the Camo pattern. Also, I think I know what clip you are talking about and I will look into getting one and getting it tested out. I'll be sending you a PM shortly. _________________

Well we don't have a price yet because we are still in our design phase and looking to get feed back on the current product. We hope to keep the cost down and make these heavy duty product affordable for everyone.
As soon as we have a firm price I will get them posted up. _________________

Good idea, I will get it on the product idea list. We will definetly be getting Red. Right now he only deals in military and law enforcement gear and there isn't much demand for Red or other colors Once we have the products nailed down and that there is a market for it we will definetly be ording the webbing in the colors listed on the site. _________________
