Shelby...my friends Pitbull...has destroyed many black Kongs!! Just try at home while you're there and see what the damage is....before you crate her with one!

Do you simply send the chewed Kongs back to the manufacturer for a replacement and if so how long does it normally take?

I contacted the company and they had me send it back to them. They then sent me a refund check and a new kong.

Oscar still uses the big pink puppy kong and a medium red kong. He hasn't figured out that he can chew on them; he only associates it with peanutbutter and other tasty treats.

But now that he's 7 months, he's becoming a stronger chewer (with some other hard plastic bones) and we've been thinking of getting him a marrow bone. Is it too soon? How long should we wait?

Thanks!

When you guys are talking about beef bones, what do they look like?

I don't want to go out and get him something wrong that could hurt him...

I usually stuff mine with all natural peanut butter, sometimes mixed in with Van Patten's dog rolls. They love it!

I cant use the kongs...We tried all the way up to the heaviest duty one they had..the ultra I think...and it lasts about an hour before rubber peices start flying. Bit of a health hazard for my AB and Presa Canario.

We go to the butcher and get fresh large scrap bones...still doesnt last long..but better than intestinal blockage.
