Hello, my name is Bobby. I am new to the American Bulldog breed. Ive been doing research for a while and i love what Ive found. I own a beautiful American pit bull. If any of you guys/girls have owned bulldogs and American pit bulls can you tell me how they compare in temperament, drive, behavior, etc.
Also Ive been looking at some kennels and i love what the Mufasa blood produces. I prefer the Bully ABs. What do you guys think of that blood? There is a stud i was thinking of getting a pup of off by the name of golden boy, and he is off of prince mufasa. Here is his link. http://redlandbullies.com/about.html What do you guys think of him?
Thanks |

| Not my type of dog but will say this, I see they say they produce and sell show quality dogs but I dont see a title on that dog or hips or elbows certification scores or an NCL status so I dont know about this one but hose are things I would look for if looking to get a pup from them. I like breeders that do all the health test and are involved in showing and working with their dogs. |

Not my cup of tea either, but a nice looking dog. Not much listed on the site at all other then "full-service canine breeding facility, specializing in breeding and selling show-quality NKC-registered puppies" whatever that means. Like Fannie said, they don't list any testing done with their dogs, health or temperament wise or what they do with their dogs other then breeding. Who knows, maybe they don't update their site or just don't post all the info. But would definitely do a little more research on them. _________________

some of us, not all, like the longer legs and longer muzzel that come with a standard dog, at least that is what would have meant had I said it. _________________

That's correct GGAB. Nothing wrong with the shorty bullier ABs if that's what you are into. But I prefer the taller Standard/Hybrid. _________________

I like the way he looks, but with no OFA/PH at the very least, i wouldent think once about a puppy from him, other tests of interest NCL Elbows etc, i am far from a pro but i read a whole lot on the boards and the net, testing for hips & nutrition so at the very least no OFA/PH look else where, just my oppinion....poppabill

| I concur, I have been to just about every NKC show this year and I have never seen these dogs. But it is their website, a place where every breeder is going to try and talk up their dogs as much as possible. There are those that talk, and those that walk. We prefer to walk and talk LOL. |
